This pre-Valentine’s Day dinner party will arouse more than one of your body parts

A lamp, designed by Bryan Crump.

Saturday is Valentine’s Day, and you know what that means: sex. Lots and lots and lots of sex, whether of the sultry, sloppy, or romantic-only-because-it-has-to-be variety. Unless you’re single, of course, in which case you’ll be sad and alone and watching Netflix with your dog all weekend. (That is definitely not what I’ll be doing, you guys!)

And you know what goes good with sex? Food. Especially certain types of food, like the foods Ludivine chef Jonathon Stranger will be whipping up tonight at Waters Edge Winery‘s “The Grey Affair,” an explicitly sensual dinner party with a menu full of piping-hot aphrodisiacs like raw oysters, sea urchin, bison, and mousse, among other things.

“Basically we will be presenting current interpretations of traditional aphrodisiacs,” Stranger said in a press release. “There will be interactive tastings and a few surprises.”

If that isn’t enough to get you going, there will be over 50 handcrafted wines, live body art by Bryan Crump, and jazz guitar (duh) from Maurice Johnson that will surely have you ready to go by night’s end. It won’t be easy, but please try to keep your pants on until you get home.

The dinner goes down 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. this evening. Tickets are $35 per person ($50 with alcohol included), and you must be at least 21 years old to attend. You can purchase tickets here and get more info on the event’s Facebook page.
